Autumn 2008 financial crisis in Iceland

[edit]

There are reports of a financial crisis in Iceland - see http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/oct/05/iceland.creditcrunch - the krona has gone from 123 to the euro to 155 in the last month. How is all this affecting Kaupthing ? -- Beardo (talk) 15:46, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Out of date

[edit]

Icelandic banks are in the middle of crisis in recent days. The article is out-of-date. For example [1]. Peltimikko (talk) 20:08, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Criminal investigation

[edit]

in this installment of a Max Keiser radio show dated February 13, 2010 a criminal investigation is mentioned citing an article in the Financial Times, I believe. __meco (talk) 10:59, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I wander if judgement belongs in this page. Note, people can appeal to the Supreme Court that has the final say and has to take cases in Iceland. comp.arch (talk) 16:24, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Tense

[edit]

Parts of this are written in the past tense (...was a bank...) and parts in the present (...employs people...maintains branches...). This needs to be clarified.79.69.235.128 (talk) 12:35, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
